Huajin Tang (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from the National University of Singapore, Singapore in 2005. He has been an R&D Engineer with STMicroelectronics, postdoc with Queensland Brain Institute, University of Queensland, and Research Scientist with Institute for Infocomm Research, ASTAR, Singapore, and a professor with Sichuan University. He is currently a Professor with the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University. Dr. Tang was the recipient of the 2016 IEEE Outstanding TNNLS Paper Award and the 2019 IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine Outstanding Paper Award. He has served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, Frontiers in Neuromorphic Engineering, Neural Networks, Neuromorphic Computing and Engineering, etc. He is the EIC of IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems since 2022, and also a Board of Governor Member of the International Neural Networks Society since 2019. His research interests include neuromorphic computing, neuromorphic hardware, spiking neural networks, brain-inspired intelligence and robotics.
