Seiichi Ozawa received his Dr. Eng. from Kobe University. He is currently the director of The Center for Mathematical and Data Sciences and full professor with Graduate School of Engineering, Kobe University. His current research interests span a wide range of machine learning, neural networks, and their big data applications for cybersecurity, text mining, and privacy preserving data mining. He published 163 journal and refereed conference papers, and 14 book chapters /monographs. He currently works as associate editors of IEEE Trans. on Cybernetics, Evolving Systems, and
Pattern Analysis and Applications Journal. Currently, he is the vice-president for Membership of the International Neural Network Society, and the vice-president of Japan Neural Network Society. He served and is serving as general co-chairs of ICONIP2016 in Kyoto, INNS Conference on Big Data and Deep Learning 2018, and ICONIP2022, a financial chair of WCCI2022, etc.
