Seiichi Ozawa received his Dr. Eng. from Kobe University. He is currently the director of The Center for Mathematical and Data Sciences and full professor with Graduate School of Engineering, Kobe University. His current research interests span a wide range of machine learning, neural networks, and their big data applications for cybersecurity, text mining, and privacy preserving data mining. Neural Networks Journal 2023 Best Paper Award
We are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 Neural Networks Best Paper Award are Suogui Dang, Yining Wu, Rui Yan, and Huajin Tang for their paper, “Why grid cells function as a metric for space". Danilo Mandic, INNS President, selected to receive the 2023 IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Prize Paper Award
The IEEE Engineering and Biology Society (EMBS) has several journals under its remit, one of which is the IEEE Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine. Danilo Mandic and his research team published a paper in this journal on "Smart Helmet" and this paper has been selected to receive the 2023 IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Prize Paper Award.
