INNS Explainable AI Section Meeting at IJCNN 2025
The International Neural Networks Society (INNS) Explainable AI (XAI) Section is excited to announce our meeting at the 2025 International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) in the beautiful city of Rome! AboutThe Explainable AI (XAI) Section addresses the critical issue of opaque deep learning models hindering their deployment in vital sectors due to potential unexplainable errors. Developing transparent AI is a key research priority with the potential to unlock widespread AI adoption, significant economic impact, and societal change, making its collaborative creation highly anticipated. The main objective of the Section on XAI is to be the focal point of scientific exchange in this emerging area. More specifically, the Section and its members will:
Join the XAI Section
Event DetailsThe meeting will take place on Thursday, 3 July 2025 from 14:45 - 16:15 in the Belli (60) Room. The INNS XAI Section Evening, Modern Challenges in Explainability, focuses on the diverse and evolving challenges facing explainable AI. The event is structured around three key themes: explaining generative models, delivering XAI as a service, and addressing regulatory and ethical constraints. Each theme will be introduced through short talks from experts, followed by open discussion. The evening aims to surface practical issues and provoke debate on how XAI must adapt to different technical, operational, and societal demands
