The International Neural Network Society (INNS) is thrilled to host this year's Awards Ceremony at IJCNN. Join us as we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our 2024 INNS Award Recipients – individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of neural networks.

The International Neural Network Society (INNS) will present the following awards, recognizing groundbreaking contributions across the field:

  • Lifetime Contribution Awards: These awards celebrate individuals whose scientific work has profoundly shaped and redefined neural networks with paradigm-changing and long-lasting impact. This includes:

    • The Donald O. Hebb Award for outstanding contributions to research in biological learning.
    • The Hermann von Helmholtz Award for outstanding contributions to research in perception.
    • The Dennis Gabor Award for outstanding contributions to engineering applications of neural networks.

  • Aharon Katzir Young Investigator Award: This award honors up to three exceptionally promising young investigators in the field of neural networks.

  • INNS Doctoral Dissertation Award: Presented to the author(s) of the best doctoral dissertation(s) in neural networks, machine learning, and related fields by INNS members, this award acknowledges high-quality, excellent, and outstanding research work.

  • Neural Networks Best Paper Award: This award recognizes a single outstanding paper published annually in the Neural Networks journal.

Registration

The Award Ceremony will be held during the Gala Dinner on Thursday, 3 July 2025 at 19:30.

Please note that registration is required to attend. A Gala ticket is not included in the general registration fee and must be purchased separately.
