The International Neural Networks Society (INNS) AI for Education (AIE) Section is excited to host a workshop at the 2025 International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) in the beautiful city of Rome!

About

The AI for Education Section aims to explore, develop, and promote the integration of AI technologies in educational settings to enhance learning experiences, personalize education, and improve educational outcomes. The Section will focus on research, development, and dissemination of AI applications in education, fostering collaboration among educators, researchers, and technologists.

The primary objectives of the AIE Section are:

  1. Research and Development: Conduct cutting-edge research on AI applications in education, including adaptive learning systems, intelligent tutoring, automated assessment, and data-driven educational insights.
  2. Collaboration and Networking: Foster collaboration among educators, AI researchers, technology developers, and policymakers to share knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions.
  3. Training and Professional Development: Provide training and resources for educators to effectively integrate AI tools into their teaching practices and enhance their pedagogical skills.
  4. Advocacy and Policy Development: Advocate for the ethical and equitable use of AI in education, influencing policy development to ensure AI technologies benefit all learners.
  5. Resource Hub: Create a centralized repository of AI in education resources, including research papers, case studies, tools, and implementation guides.

The AI Innovations for Education: Transforming Teaching and Learning through Cutting-Edge Technologies Workshop will take place on Wednesday, 2 July 2025 from 14:00-18:30 in the Loyola (230) Room.
