INNS AI for Neural Engineering Section Workshop at WCCI 2026

The Artificial Intelligence for Neural Engineering (AINE) Section of the International Neural Network Society (INNS), in collaboration with the Italian Neural Network Society (SIREN), is proud to announce the upcoming workshop: "AI-driven innovation in Neurotechnologies."

Hosted at the 2026 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence (WCCI), this workshop serves as a premier interdisciplinary forum for researchers at the intersection of AI, neural engineering, and computational neuroscience. We invite you to join our vibrant community in discussing recent advances and tackling the open challenges that define the future of neurotechnology.

Call for Contributions

We are seeking high-quality contributions that reflect the broad, interdisciplinary scope of the AINE section. We warmly welcome submissions covering both theoretical developments and applied research, including:
  • Research Papers: New findings in AI-driven neural methods.
  • Methodological Advances: Innovations in computational frameworks for brain-machine interfaces and neural decoding.
  • Application-Oriented Studies: Real-world implementations of neurotechnologies in clinical or assistive settings.
